2020 SUMMER MUSIC CAMP #1 - EVENT REGISTRATION

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY, THEN COMPLETE AND SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING FORM.

We’re excited to announce that our first music camp of the summer will take place Wednesday, June 24 through Friday June 26, 10:00-12:00ish each day. The program will begin promptly at 10:00 each morning, so please be sure your student arrives no later than 9:50.

AGENDA: This camp will focus on arranging and recording an original number written by Quest Center students. This is a writing and recording session that requires equal amounts of patience and participation. Students will be called upon to explore various instruments, and may be asked to contribute with something other than their primary instrument. This is a fun, creative and challenging program that will produce a recording students can be proud of.  Samples of prior camp recordings can be found at https://soundcloud.com/thequestcenter

 We will host a pizza & listening party for students and their families at the conclusion of camp on Friday

This camp is most appropriate for students grades 6-12 who’ve completed our beginner guitar, beginner keyboard, beginner banjo or beginner fiddle classes, or who have reasonable familiarity with their instrument. Students with proficiency in other instruments are invited to bring additional instruments, however instructor approval may be required and there’s no guarantee they will be used for the performance.

The cost is $45 per student for all 3 days (need-based assistance available. call us at 615 326 5090 or email jim@qcdickson.org)

Space is extremely limited for this event and will reach capacity, so please register as soon as possible.

PLEASE NOTE:

1) In an effort to support some of our less experienced students, we may ‘partner’ them with older students as mentors;

2) Camp will require a high degree of effort, focus, attention and cooperation from every student;

3) Mobile devices will be collected upon arrival and returned at the conclusion of each evening.

By submitting this application, you agree:

1) Unless other arrangements have been agreed, payment is expected in full prior to the start of camp.

2) In fairness to all campers, students must attend all 3 nights. There are no refunds for partial attendance.

3) The QUEST CENTER is a 501(C)(3) non-profit community organization that relies heavily on pictures and videos of our classes/events to build awareness and funding for our programs. I agree that images/videos of my child may be used for Quest Center promotional purposes.
