2025 WINTER MUSIC CAMP - EVENT REGISTRATION
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY, THEN COMPLETE AND SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING FORM.
WHEN: Tuesday March 4 through Thursday March 6 from 6:00-8:00ish each evening. The program will begin promptly at 6:00, so please be sure your student arrives no later than 5:45.
AGENDA: This camp will focus on creating, arranging and recording an original song in less than 6 hours. It will require equal amounts of participation, collaboration and patience. Students may be asked to play an instrument in addition to their primary. This is a fun, creative and challenging program that will produce a recording students can be proud of. All students will receive a copy of the final recording in mp3 format. Samples of prior camp projects can be found at https://soundcloud.com/thequestcenter.
WHO: This camp is most appropriate for students grades 5-12 who’ve completed or are currently enrolled in Quest Center classes, or who have reasonable proficiency on their instrument. Students with proficiency in other instruments are invited to bring additional instruments, however instructor approval may be required and there’s no guarantee they will be used during the recording.
COST: The cost is $45 per student for all 3 nights (financial assistance available for demonstrable need. See form below).
PLEASE NOTE:
1) This event will reach capacity, so please register as soon as possible. Once we reach capacity this link will be disabled.
2) Camp will require a high degree of effort, focus, patience, participation and cooperation from every student. Our camps are fun, but they are also challenging and require hard work. There's very little time or tolerance for distractions. Be forewarned!
3) Mobile devices will be collected upon arrival and returned at the conclusion of each evening.
By submitting this application, you agree:
1) Unless other arrangements have been agreed, payment is expected in full prior to the start of camp.
2) In fairness to all campers, students MUST attend all 3 nights. If your student is not available to attend all three nights, please do not register so another student may participate. There are no refunds for partial attendance or no-shows.
3) The QUEST CENTER is a 501(C)(3) non-profit community organization that relies heavily on pictures and videos of our classes/events to build awareness and funding for our programs. I agree that images/videos of my child may be used for Quest Center promotional purposes.
